Our MD-TrackPerformance universal air inlets are used to ventilate thermally stressed components in racing cars. We designed the inlets in NACA style! NACA openings were once developed by the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics for jet engine aircraft. Since then, they have also been used in motorsports because they create air turbulence without significantly increasing the vehicle's air resistance.

Characteristically, the NACA Duct begins with the small opening and becomes wider towards the rear of the vehicle. This ensures “soft” airflow

We have different variants of inlets in our range. Among other things, with or without a hose connection. Feel free to take a look at the other variants.

We produce the air inlets using 3D printing. We use ABS plastic. This is dimensionally stable up to approx. 100°C.

When designing the design, we rely on a table that shows how the proportions most effectively direct the air.

Motorsport component:

This component is an item designed and manufactured for motorsport, therefore it is not approved for vehicles in general road traffic.
When used on a vehicle registered for road traffic, the user must independently check whether this will affect the operating license.

We therefore recommend that you coordinate the installation with your TÜV inspector beforehand!
