Airbox air inlet funnel suitable for BMW E36 curved fog light opening
The funnel is attached to the right fog light opening. We equipped the funnel with metallic thread inserts so that it can be attached with M5x12mm screws without drilling. This means that installation can take place without destroying the bumper.
The intake funnel has a shape specially developed by us in CAD so that the air is guided ideally. In the connection area, the funnel converges into a 45° round opening. The connection diameter can be determined by you! However, we recommend this 80 mm version!
What's new in V2?
It wasn't easy to improve the air flow of this funnel and at the same time generate space for the GT sword!
We decided to let the funnel run a little at the front, which ensures that no adjustment work is necessary on the bumper, even with large diameters such as 120mm!
The funnel then runs out to the side, slightly curved. This is necessary to get past the GT sword!
The 3D model shows the funnel for the passenger side. Because we carried out the construction and laser scanning on the conversion vehicle with a 4.7L V8 engine!
Your funnel will of course be made for the driver's side unless otherwise requested!
